Our Story

SCROLL DOWN

Our Story

We are an adventurous couple with many experiences and battles between us and the world that we would love to share with you. Our blog’s title comes from a mix of Dave's last name, Volpe, which means fox in Italian and Macy's slight obsession with anchors that started way back when she was a child

Our adventure started when Dave became an intern for the start-up company where Macy worked. We instantly became friends, and grew closer and closer. We tried to ignore our attraction to each other for a while, but sooner than later  our friendship turned to love and hanging out turned into adventures as a couple

Macy

Macy

Macy works on the business and marketing team at the company.  Her real passion is event planning, which she is slowly taking action on. Macy’s love for anchors started when her Grandfather, who was in the Navy, start drawing anchors on her arm when she was a little girl. Her family is very important to her and they all remain very close and have an amazing family bond. She also loves avocados, purple, anything tiffany related, vintage cars, being on the water, waterskiing, and may have a huge obsession with the Baltimore Ravens but lets not get into that (yet).

Dave

Dave is a graphic designer at the same company. He graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Towson University and has a passion for print and illustrations. Dave loves being outdoors and that usually involves being on a mountain bike, road bike, snowboard, or cruising the asphalt in his car. You could say dave’s second love affair is the love for his car. Constantly tinkering, modifying, customizing, and who knows what else
